The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
